What is Campus Grumble?

Campus Grumble eliminates the road map needed to figure out which issues go where. Students identify and observe issues, submit grumbles, gain support from fellow students, and watch as student groups take action. When students have problems and want to get their opinions heard they use Campus Grumble.


What is a grumble?

A grumble is the statement of an issue on campus that students want resolved by their administration.


What is a mumble?

To mumble a grumble means that you are signifying you support a particular grumble or issue on your campus.


Is Campus Grumble anonymous?

Yes and no. Every user is required a confirmed .edu school email address in order to view grumbles. However, usernames are masked to help users feel more comfortable speaking their minds on controversial topics.


Is Campus Grumble free to use?

Campus Grumble is free for any and all students to use if we support your school.


How do I submit a grumble?

Simply register for Campus Grumble with a .edu email address and then click the “Submit a grumble” button on the grumble listings page of your respective school.


Why can't I view grumbles without registering or logging in anymore?

To ensure a private network, we have decided to only allow registered students with valid .edu email addresses to participate and view issues on their campus. If you would like access to the grumble area for media purposes, please contact us to gain approval.


What if I can’t find my school?

We are currently expanding to schools across the country but haven't found your school yet. Please submit a request to let us know how much your campus needs Campus Grumble and we can get your school added! Contact us by clicking here.


I hold an .edu email address at a participating school but I still cannot register, what do I do?

We may not be aware of all of the email address formats for your school. Please contact us and we will correct the problem manually.


How long does it take to register?

It takes less than a minute to register to Campus Grumble, including verifying your email address!


What happens if someone posts inappropriate content?

Profanity and personal attacks are not allowed and will be immediately removed by our in-house moderation team. We encourage productive discussions and anything that may be considered offensive or detrimental should be flagged for removal, if it hasn’t been already.


How can I make sure my grumble gains attention?

Use thought-provoking titles, keep your grumbles concise but as specific as possible, keep content “work-safe”, and leverage social media to gain support for your cause.


How can I bring Campus Grumble’s platform and technology to my high school, middle school, workplace, or organization?

What is Campus Grumble Connect?

Campus Grumble Connect is a portal used by student leaders and school administration to communicate with our student complaint website - Campus Grumble. Campus Grumble Connect helps you, help them by giving student group leaders more control, transparency, and efficiency when managing their organizations with our dashboard.
